Connect your Android via the USB cable, launch Potatoshare Android Assistant, and you will be able to manage your Android from your PC. This means you’ll be able to view and back up your contacts, watch the videos stored on your Android, view the photos you took with your Android, see your Android’s battery level, and more.

To get started with Potatoshare Android Assistant, you will first have to download and install the application on your PC. A wizard will help you install the application on a PC powered by a 32 or 64-bit Windows edition, anything from XP to 8. After the application is installed, you must enable USB Debugging Mode on your Android. Then you must launch Potatoshare Android Assistant and connect your Android via your USB cable.

A blue toolbar located at the top of the application’s interface lists a total of 10 buttons. The following 10 buttons are:
My Android – view information about your Android device, like model type, power level, free storage space.
Apps – view a list of installed apps, remove apps, install more apps on your device.
Music – view all the music on your Android device, import and export music.
Photos – view, import and export, delete, set photos as your wallpaper.
Video – view all the videos on your Android, import and export videos, delete videos.
Book – view the eBooks stored on your mobile, import and export books, delete books.
Files – this is similar to opening My Files on your Android.
Contacts – view all your contacts, modify and edit contact details, back up and restore contacts, send SMS to a contact.
Tasks – view and manage a list of tasks.

Please note that unless you register, Potatoshare Android Assistant won’t do anything. It will not import photos, it will not uninstall apps, it will not set an audio track as your Android’s ringtone, and so on.

It is a lot easier to work on your PC. So go get Potatoshare Android Assistant and use your PC to manage the data stored on your Android.

Pros

Getting started with this tool is a fairly simple process: install the application on your PC, enable USB Debugging, connect via USB, run the application. Easily navigate the interface by using the buttons located on the blue toolbar at the top. There’s a lot you can do with Potatoshare Android Assistant.

Cons

Unfortunately, you can do it only after you register the application. The unregistered version will not transfer files, will not delete files, will not do anything.
